Please join us for this year's 2013 Escape to Los Angeles, PCA's fun long-weekend getaway is in the heart of Southern California October 24 - 26th with DE on Sunday October 27th on the same site.
Escape to LA will be headquartered in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, while not in LA proper, it is near enough that you could venture into the middle of what this fabulous cosmopolitian city has to offer... And we are leaving you with a free night to do just that if you would like to!
We will be based on the site of the world renowed Los Angeles County Fairgrounds, also home of the National Hot Rod Association Museum and NHRA Winternationals dragstrip. Our Saturday evening cocktail party will be in the Wally Parks NHRA Musuem. This museum houses a wonderful collection of Southern California racing history beginning in fabulous forties.
Event Headquarters will be the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel, located on one corner of the Fairgrounds property. The Sheraton will host our long-weekend of socials and get togethers. This is a "car friendly" venue that are experiened at hosting automotive groups.
We look forward to having you join us for our Thursday's night Drive In Movie Night and Welcome party with Kobe sliders and shakes and of course adult beverages on the menu, plus the fun non competitive Car Show, a Saturday evening elegant cocktail party including a Martini bar held amongst the fabulous cars at the National Hot Rod Museum. The Saturday evening fun will continue down the lane at our final Gala Banquet. We've selected some special meal offerings and are confident you won't be disappointed.
Escape to LA will offer an extremely wide variety and large number of tours in our attempt to provide something for everyone. There are four different Mountain Tours, a Tour on MulhoLland Drive that ends up at the Mullin Automotive Museum; eight Museum Tours and a Cayenne Adventure Tour. There are three very special and very limited tours to see Space X, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Nethercutt Restoration facility. In addition, we have two self guided Architectural / Historical Tours; one located around the Claremont / La Verne / Pomona area, and the other focuses on the Pasadena / South Pasadena / San Marino area. (No need to register in advance for these last two; information will be provided upon your arrival.)
And if this wasn't enough, on Sunday (separately from Escape) there is a High Performance Drivers Education event and Zone 8 Time Trial on the 1.5 mile track located right on the Fairgrounds! Many will remember roadraces at this facility from the 1950s, complete with the historic bridge.
Besides our organized tours, there dozens of other other Places to See that will be included in our binder that you will receive. So come early and stay late. The Sheraton is honoring our special rate for several days before and after our event.

Registration Fees are $285.00 per person which includes the Thursday night Welcome Drive In Movie night, the Saturday night Cocktail Party at the National Hot Rod Museum amongst the fabulous display of Southern California Racing and our Saturday night wrap up banquet in the new Sheraton Banquet hall, dining with a wonderful array of display Porsches. The fee also includes our terrific per vehicle Escape to LA Goodie Bag and our Escape Binder filled with places to eat, local attractions, maps, emergency information and over 80 places of interest with lots of self guided tour ideas including wonderful suggestions for Pasadena Architectural and Historical tour sites which are located within close driving distance of the event hotel.
